About the Craftsman

President and Craftsman, Jason De George, is a woodworker based in Chicago, IL who launched Black Maple Workshop, LLC in 2024 with his first puzzle box design titled Omusubi.

Black Maple Workshop, LLC was established with the goal of creating fine woodworking products, wooden puzzle boxes, decorative boxes, marquetry, bespoke furniture and other handmade crafts.
